Ahmedabad: Even though the assembly elections in Gujarat are in 2027, Congress party is already preparing for the 2027 Assembly elections. Lok Sabha opposition leader Rahul Gandhi, who is on a two-day visit to Gujarat, took his own leaders to task. Addressing a workers' conference in Ahmedabad, Rahul Gandhi said that the officials and workers of Gujarat Congress will have to connect directly with the public - only then will the public believe in you. If the party has to expel some leaders, then they should do so.

Rahul Gandhi slams Party Leaders

Rahul Gandhi met party workers and candidates before the civic elections in Ahmedabad and addressed the gathering. During this, he said- "Today, injustice is increasing everywhere in the country - in such a situation, there is a big responsibility on the energetic workers of Congress. We have to fight together against this injustice and oppression. We have to fight for the ideology of truth, non-violence and harmony of Congress. Our first task is to separate these two groups. If we have to take strict action, if we have to remove 30-40 people, then we should do so. If people are working for BJP from inside, then remove those people and let them work for BJP from outside. Then we will see how they get a place there, because they will pick them up and throw them out."

Rahul Gandhi hits out at AAP
While addressing the program, Rahul Gandhi also targeted Aam Aadmi Party. Recently, AAP and Congress fought elections separately in Delhi. Congress has been suffering losses in Gujarat because of AAP, here Congress has been calling AAP BJP's B team. Regarding this, Rahul Gandhi said - "The people of Gujarat, traders, farmers, laborers, students want opposition in the state. These people do not want a 'B-team' in Gujarat. It is my responsibility to separate these two groups."
